The Orange/black wire is from the battery and the blue/black is the negative..... I would have to say at a guess that the purple/white is the positive and the black/white is the negative. If by chance you connect them wrong the seat will behave in reverse to what the switch would normally operate it.

    Thanks for the reply
So these wires are to move the seat up and down???
So i can't blow a fuse if fit wrong??

So i'm guessing the yellow plug is for the air bags???

My 98 seats passenger side didn't have a plug for the other one..Only the yellow plug....
But there is a plug not being used connected to the car
But on the 99 seats there is two plug connected to seat

Drivers side ...98 seats had 2 plugs connected....This is the one in question....
On the 99 seats there are another 2 loose wires coming of the seat?????And also two plugs...

Can you or anyone Please share some light on this?????????????

What extra did the 99 accailm have ??????????????????????????
    Thanks in advance

    Thankyou.....
my car has 2 connecters on each side......
Only one connected the yellow ones.....
New seat 99 accailm wagon has 2 connecters on both sides..And on drivers side has extra 2 wires...
To which were not connected to my old ones 98 accailm

So on drivers side 98 seat air bag and drivers movement was only connected
Saying that the two loose wires are for the seatbelt pretensioniors??????
Meaning pretensioniors are only on drivers side??????

but saying that the two connecters on drivers side were connected and look the same as the passengers....Which my 98 seats only had 1 connecter on seat but two on car

    Thanks for your help

That is the worst part about these manuals, they are so broard spectrum with the cars that not all the options and other little things arent all included. I would say that the seatbelt pretensioners would have been standard and are on both sides with the air bags.
Did the 98 seats have the electronic adjuastment?
so do your seats have airbags in them?
If you could get any pics for reference that would be helpful as I can have a look at my car tomorrow in the daylight and see whats there as I am only going off of what my manual has in it.

Both seats 98 and 99 has the yellow plug in them there for the srs airbags in the seats
    yellow wire is sorted
    98 seat had electronic ajustments..
Thats the other plug that is not connected on drivers seat...
But saying that...On both sides there are orange plugs that are not connected
So is the orange ones for the seatbelt pretensiona??
On both seats 99 have i yellow air bag....1 orange ...and only drivers side has two loose wires going no where as they were not connected to the 98 and there is no wires coming out of the car for these...
Tomorrow can you please dissconnect the orange connecter and see if the ajustment stops working..??????
If it is safe to do this???
    Thanks for your help

But saying that why is there a orange one on passengers side??
    Thankyou
