Default vx normal temp gauge reading

    G'day to all,

I did search but couldn't seem to find an answer.

My wife drives a 2001 VX Commodore. Apart from being on gas it's stock. She seems to think that its running slightly warmer than it usually does. I don't drive it that often so I can't remember where the needle should sit.

So I took it for a drive. The needle sits somewhere between 1/4 and 1/2 once warmed up. Is this normal?

    Thanks for your time.

    Cheers.

with the car turned off, hold the mode and up button in and start the car, once running when you hit mode it will take you through the other things in the dash, eg volt readings, L/H fuel usage, digital speed, and also digital temp, plus a dash test mode. mine normally reads 92 deg.
