Recently had 3 out of the 4 rear CV joints replaced. There is still a random clunking noise coming from the rear end . Have had the rear end up on 2 occasions. It will not make the noise when the rear wheels are driven at a speed of 60 to 80 KLM/hour in this fashion.

Car has done 225,000 KLM

The only observation made was that a whole passenger side CV shaft wibrated unusually. The CV specialist said that it is a sloppy diff bearing causing this.

I would have thaought a bad diff bearing would make a noise all the time ?

The noise still seems to be triggered by turning a left hand corner.

Any one with expertise / experience in this area ?
