Hey guys, I'm having a bastard of a time trying to replace my new VX's left tail light. As the title suggests, it's a 2002 VX II S-Pack.
I've read instructions via google to:
- Find black knobs near lights on inside of boot. (I was unable to find such knobs..)
- Unscrew knobs to access lights.
Basically, inside my boot, under the carpet and directly below the boot opening is a long plastic strip with 1 screw on either end, this screw is stripped and cannot be undone with a screwdriver - however I was able to pry away the carpet wall to see what is under it. Underneath is a solid steel wall with a big hole in it (about a 20cent coin size)
Replacing the globe will not be an issue.. getting to the globe however is what I'm having trouble with, any advice?
lol... on the rh side of the LH taillight theres 2 screws, take them out and push the light forward and left to pop it out.
you will see how it works when its out![]()
nah mate, its actually in the opening of the boot... so the boot lid closes down on them, they face outward of the car
nah actually on the outside of the light itself, theres 2 screws facing towards the front of the car
pop the boot, look from the outside , theyre on RH side of the LH taillight and the opposite way for the opposite light...
2 phillips head screws facing inwards
where the edge of ya tail light meets ya boot lid is where the screws r
right there mate, in the black bit to the right of the tail light, two screws
u get them changed now u been looking for 2screws for awhile lmao
