5Lt lifter cradle

Hi Guys,am having troble finding 1 of these cradles and have spoke with holden aswell as the local dealer and both have no answers and don't really care. I have looked everywhere i think on the site and don't seem to be able to solve this issue.The engine is in a 2000 spac ute with 115000k's on the clock and is stuck in the shed till it's fixed. Any help would be great thanks

try an engine builder...or repco...

nah they are non existant mate, cant buy them new from holden anymore either.... theres no aftermarket alternative either. people who have them want hundreds for them too...

last one i had to replace at work we got the metal fab dudes next door to copy the original, but make it out of high tensile sheet metal.

Thanks Peanuts i'm not a mechanic and where i live theres not many here that have seen inside a motor so all help is very greatful.You don't happen to remember any details of where you got it made thanks again Jacko.
