Hi,

I'm trying to replace a broken driver seat in my VT SS 1998.
Its incredibly hard to find an original replacement in decent condition so i decided to go the racing bucket seat route.

Here's where the problems come in.

I bought 2 Autotechnica seats to put in along with the VT/VX adapter plates etc, however the old seat assembly has the electronic height adjust and because of the way the frame is setup its not possible to bolt the rails to the adapter and then to the chair.

I tried just about everything but its clearly just impossible, even if i were to mount the adapter plate to the rails the crossbars on the rails (the parts which allow the tilt/height adjust) block the bolt pattern from the inside.

If anyone has done this before i would much appreciate any advice/tips you can give.

Im not far from just getting custom rails/sliders made for it but i would like to avoid that at all costs as its bloody expensive and would require an engineers.
