    Default vx boot weight

I'm going be putting an SS spoiler and Calais garnish on my boot and was wondering with the added weight, will I be able to stop the boot falling and hitting me on my head, or is this not going to be as big a problem as I think?

Well first off, the boot struts will have normal wear and tear from over the years.

Adding a spoiler most probably will make it drop on you.

But what you can get is new boot struts. There are two strengths you can get, one for a normal boot, and one for boots with spoilers which are a bit stiffer.

I'm running the ones recommended for spoilers, just on my normal boot for extra strength

Most auto stores stock them like Repco. Just let them know its for a boot with a spoiler.
