It is not a sealed unit and has a filler plug usually with a tag under the head of the plug on the driver side of the back of the diff. The bottom center bolt is the drain plug. Check your handbook as some models ie supercharged V6 use a different oil I. The oil will come out clean but will have fine particles of metal in it whether you can see them or not.

The bottom bolt is a drain plug, undo it and let it drain out. Put it back in (loctite) and then remove the large fillter bolt. Get an LSD oil that has the friction modifier in it (otherwise it will crack and chatter) bursons has a few types, most LSD oils have it in there already.

Fill it till it comes out the hole and put the cap on. I did mine, it was a PIA to fill it, the oil was clean anyway

Undo the filler plug first ,then the drain plug !

(Just in case you are unable to undo the filler plug ,
as you want to be sure that you can refill the diff with oil.)

Threadlocking compound not necessary. Just torque it to spec. with the proper sealing washer.

General rule of thumb is never threadlock a drain bolt. The female thread isn't usually deep enough or stable enough when shearing the compound during removal. First year apprentices learn this. It's a bad practice to get in to.
