    Default v6 sc or l v8

    hey people just want to know from you if i should stick to my tv v6 supercharged car or swap it for a vt 5.0l v8
    what are the pros and cons is what i want to know


    i have a friend who wants to swap cars not sure y

    your choice but even tho the 5ltr is a good engine they are a bit of a slug in a vt

    id stay with the super6, probably is faster anyways

    If you like the sound of a V8 go for the 5 litre but a super six accelerates quicker.

    If you are going to trade the L67 for an *, make sure it's a cammed and tuned LS1. A 5L would be a placebo effect IMO. I have an L67 and haven't been neaten by many 5ls and the ones that thrashed me were heavily worked

    If you love the Holden V8 sound, and don't mind dropping a heap of coin on the 5ltr to make it go half decent then go the 5ltr; if you are a tightarse, and perhaps a little smarter keep the super six, put some money into it and you'll have a mighty quick VT.
