ok im looking at getting the vx garnish for my vt series two. im assuming all the vx models (exc-s-ss) boot garnish are the same. i found one already painted in my colour for 172 bucks. is that worth it??
$172 painted your colour? Grab it dude
ye they are all the same
as has been said they are all the same. not a bad price if its the exact same color & color code. remember there is more than one shade of the same color.
have a good hunt round though, you will be surprised at the bargains you find,i just bought a mint vx garnish for 20 bucks, its not the same color as my car but at that price who cares, lol
A pessimist is a man who thinks all woman are bad. An optimist is a man who hopes they are
If its exactly the same colour that a greats price and if you can screw them down even better! It would probably end up costing more to get it painted the same colour if you found a cheap one with a different colour.
Need a V8 or Turbo...!
Executive, Acclaim, S and SS are all the same garnish. Berlina, Calais and HSV models are different as they have the lights on the boot. Surely he can do it for $170... $172 is a bit odd!

yep same colour code k025 so i know its not a diff shade of black or anything. also im getting monaro tail lights but i was looking at the genuine red ones which are 150 or the cv8r ones which are the black ones which are 350. think i should just go for the normal monaro red tail light?
i just picked me up one free but red and its going to cost 60 dollars to get painted for my car down side i just found out the reversing lights wireing is differant so any body seen or know whats been done here to fix it![]()
You need to get a hold of VX taillight wiring loom, and change your tail lights.
ok went to see the wercker and he said not all vt need to change so take a look and see your pin setup so off i went and what the hell i cant just plug in and go no need to change the wireing in the back so if your going to do this just look at whats there first
so today i am going to change it all over with after market lights
post shot later on in here
done yesterday no need to change any wireing at all plug in and go
