When does the low speed fan kick in, I have found that even after running the engine for a while only the high speed fan kicks in....I have replaced the low speed fan relay but it is still the same. I had disconnected the ect sensor and found both of the fans work, but does the low speed and is it suppossed to run at all

Low speed fan only runs when it needs it. High speed fan comes on as soon as you turn the aircon on. Good way to check your low speed fan is to remove the relay for the high speed fan and let your car idle with the aircon running. If your temperature gauge goes over half you have a problem.

Only times I've heard my low speed fan is when I'm sitting still on a 40 degree day either gas bagging in a driveway or stuck in traffic.
