I need help on Installing Cruise Control into my VT Series 1 3.8L V6.
I have been asked do i have the wiring looms or not but i do not know, because i do not know what i am
looking for. I heard there is a Manual floating around on the forums on how to do it, if someone could PM me it, it would be much Appreciated.
if your keen to do it yourself, get one of the gregory's manuals, or just take a look in the commodore how to's!

I looked into doing it on my series 1, but gave up as it was too much of a hassle, as my model (build May 98) didn't have the wiring for it. If you look behind the drivers side strut tower in the engine bay, there may be a wire with a brown plug taped up that isn't connected to anything. If it's there, you have the wiring and it's not such a big job to do. If there isn't the wire/plug then you have to install it yourself, I couldn't be bothered.
so even if i got all the wiring looms and parts its still a big job to install? and i looked under the hood and didnt really see any spare wires not that i know what i am actually looking for.
hi mate looking into puting cruise in my vt as well... was wondering if you ever found the manual to do it
get the stalk and motor, plug and play, providing the loom is already there for cruise
