    Default Help error 48

    I had to replace starter motor today because it starting smoking, bad habit, now when it try to start my car it turns over fast but dosen;t seem to fire, it takes 3 or 4 tries, any help? shows error 48 when checked

    code 48 is Cam angle sensor. hopefully you have just knocked a connector loose
    are you sure it isn't code 47 crank angle sensor? a lot more common

    Definately 48, and 92, it was done by auto elect (no choice when your stuck in a car park) but will call them in morning to get them to check it

    done some research and found out it may be the key, one of the screws fell out which appartly is the earth to the transponder? put it back in, car started fine, reset the fault codes and restarted, no faults, YET ?
