Do i need new memcal ?

asking this for a mate,

he has vt blown with after market memcal, k&n filter, 10psi pulley, exhaust...

he going to get msd coil packs but not sure if he need to update his memcal ?

any help or info would be great

It should run fine on the memcal he has now.

having said that - he might be able to get a bit more power with a tune, if spark was an issue beforehand.
