VY handbrake conversion for VX

Hi All,
I really like the look of VY-VZ handbrake levers ,the ones that come with satin chrome bits and was wondering if i can swap my vx handbrake with one of them... does anyone know if they are interchangeable or not ??? Thanks heaps.

yea ive seen a few people that have done it. im also going to do it, but just a standard black one

yes, it is certainly possible, straight swap...i tried to swap the plastic covers first , to see if i can save myself some work but no no...you need to take the old vx lever out and put vy-vz one in, fits right in !!!

so you mean you have to swap the hole hand brake over altogether right?
