hey guy getting a set of ve calais rims soon and was wondering what wheel nuts i got vx or ve ones cheers jay
Doesnt matter what wheels you put on a car, the nuts required go by what the car is, as the studs are a part of the car, not the rims. VE's take 14mm nuts, Anything else pre-VE takes 12mm nuts. So if they are goin on your VX, then you need 12mm's![]()
The wheel nuts you have on the car now will be fine.

OK, is the VT also 12mm x 1.5 thread??
Not true.. Sure the thread will always be the same, but some rims require diferant tapers
i'm not tailgating, i'm keeping up with the pace car
VT is 12x1.5 how ever if your really worried I am pretty sure you can get wheel nuts to suit VE rims on pre vehicles that have a different taper.

just to settle it for everyone the nuts you will need are the ones that come standard on all vt-vz alloys from the factory. the ones that have the plastic caps. the caps can come in black silver or chrome.
these nut have the massive flare taper or v taper u will need to accept the 14mm stud hole in the ve wheels.
ive had a lot of experience fitting these wheels to earlier commos and highly recommend this being the safest.
cheers and GL,
Luke
