    Angry Pinging in VX Commodore - V6 - Auto

    Hey
    Have major Pinging Problems in my car. Mainly in the higher gears, highway and under load (ex; going up hills)

    This is what I have done to try and fix the problem but its still there.

    * Had Dyno'd - They said was Air Flow Meter
    * Replaced 2 Sets Spark Plugs (NGK)
    * Replaced Spark Plug Leads
    * Replaced Fuel Filter
    * Off Car Injector Clean
    * Replaced Knock Sensor (Right Knock Sensor came up on Scan Tool)
    * Replaced Air Flow Meter with New
    * Have tried all types of Petrol from all different Servos

    At a loss - please give me your thoughts

    Fuel pump, or fuel pressure regulator?

    Knocking can be caused by oil consumption, if an engine burns any oil that effectively reduces the octane rating of the fuel. Also check your EGR valve, the introduction of a small amount of exhaust gas into the inlet manifold reduces the octane requirement of the engine so if that is not working properly it may be the cause.
    Other than that check all your wiring, earths and maybe the O2 sensors?
