thats the stupid thing,there isnt one law for everybody in the country,there laws for every state. you could do something perfectly legal in your state but go to another you break the law.
an example would be if you can legally drive a car thats supercharged in your state,if you drive interstate where it isnt you could get a lovely piece of paper saying pay this or possibly worse.
depending who pulls you up & what sorta mood they are in,lol

well in QLD they are really nice & have signs says speed camera ahead............right outside the van taking your little picture

bummer that rules out getting a rare CV6 monaro....but...i think your right, you can legaly drive a supercharged commodore!!

There's only 2 problems, firstly I've got to get a job. Secondly then have to find one without too many K's and that hasn't been thrashed.

have you applied for the exemption, because it is not an automatic exemption. i daresay it wont work because they will just tell you to get a non supercharged commodore.

but do give it a try, whats the worst that could happen?

the exemption is for p plated mechanics so firstly you need a letter from your boss if you even are a mechanic and the exemption wont be usefull after normal work hours..

sorry mate but like someone else said, they'll just tell you to get the non supercharged one.

I tried to get a Subaru Liberty B4 AWD and i applied for an exemption and they said it has modifications added from the base model to increase performance. Even though it fit the power to weight ratio and was a 4 door sedan and all that stuff. Pretty much you can't get a decent car until you're off your P's.

i think its a good thing. a dumbass p plater not long ago ran up the ass of a car parked on the street (everyone has to park on the street)
and its a wide road. dumbass lost controll and ran up a parked cars ass
