balance shaft rattle
ok sorry guys back with another question... when i got a reco'd engine put in my VT the other week it 's now got a very annoying rattle, the mech that put the engine in said its just the balance shaft and nothing to worry about? but it annoys the absolute shit out of me and i reckon it got louder!! how hard is it to fix and what sort of $$$

Just remove the drive gear for the shaft and end of problem. Car will have a bit of a vibration at about 1500rpm but otherwise its all good.
