i have heard that it is a bitch to put a camber kit in. but with a $300 saving i would give it a go myself for sure .

It can be a pain mainly because when removing the bolt from the outer bush it hits the chassis and the rear sub frame has to be unbolted and dropped about 100 mm to pull the old bolt out . Also the rear half of the exhaust has to be removed . When i got my 4 point kit fitted the guy had it for the best part of the day . It cost $350 fitted including wheel alignment , can't remember what brand it was but it has blue bushes

My experience with K-Mac kits is that they can usually be fitted by a reasonably thoughtful car owner.

Some kits, especially strut top camber kits, will require a spring compressor (Super Cheap Auto sells a decent enough one for about $40), but otherwise it's just ordinary hand tools.

There's no doubt, too, that the K-Mac kit will be a better thought-out arrangement than most others. There will be appropriate fittings and design features in place to give what's needed in the suspension units involved.

When there's a bush that can adjust camber or caster, there are hardened teeth on the ends of the nickel-chromed inner bushes, these also having spirals for grease to go into so the bushes are lubricated. The teeth bite into the rail or suspension unit and won't move if done up properly, so the settings are maintained despite extreme use. Extra-length nuts with serious spring washers are supplied with these kits as well.

There's never enough praise for the K-Mac designs, and they're available for so many cars. A very wide range.
