VX II S-Pack Intake Questions

[VX Appeal]

Hey guys, below is my current engine bay.. The only non-standard 'mods' are:
- panel K&N air filter
- Flash lube
- Intake mouth has been widened
- Engine cover taken off
(If you can see any other mods please tell me!)


What I want to do next is to upgrade the intake to something like below:

Can anyone tell me what these are actually called? Where I can get some, maybe even a few eBay links, etc?

ss inductions CAI is what its called they usually go for around $500 give or take.. dont know where to get it from cause mine had it already

there are threads on this but i cut a whole on the airbox (next to the n/s guard) and put a plumbers pipe there with a 90 degree bend pointing to the headlight.. and just use some silicon or whatever to fix it up.. can hear the air induction better

I've heard about the two hole mod and seen plenty of threads.. Will think about it further after I get this setup.

if you have a v8 yes :P there are other types available for v6's but id just go with the big mouth cai

otherwise know as "SS reduction kits", apparently they arnt made of very thick or good quailty plastic and they actuall get sucked in and dont hold their form.....but thats only what ive heard, could be different. If anything ive been keeping an eye out for a genuine L67 intake which is like the 2nd picture. there arnt many around and they dont come up often but thats your best bet.
