Need help replacing my vt cluster face

hey guys n girls new 2 tje site not sure on how it works I just boight a green cluster face for my vt need advice on how to get it out to remove and insert the new face thanks for ur help giys

hey mate

all you need is a screw driver and a fork.. and mines a vx manual so it could be slightly different but this is how i did it

2 screws next to the ciggerette lighter nd take out the trim there and disconnect the power window switch, that will reveal another 2 screws underneath..take out the 2 screws above the speedo and also pop out the trim beneath the steering wheel which will reveal another 3-4 screws. then just pop the trim surrounding the a/c controls and speedo out and disconnect all the wiring to the switchs. and all that should be left is 2 screws next to the speedo itself. carefully take the wiring out the back. now you have the speedo box, carefully push the tabs in and pry it apart. grab the fork and slowly lift the needles off and then take the black dial cover off and replace with yours.

when putting the needles back on you slowly push the into place and check the needle sits in the correct position and when you push the needle up the dial it should come back down to the correct place.. if you dont do this you will have a dodgy speedo haha

then just put everything back on

Mate ur a legand had so many ppl say oh dnt do it you have to take the whole dash off blah blah blah did it in like 15mins thamk you and the fork idea brillant cheers mate
