VX Automotive original engine life

I have year 2002 VX II EXECUTIVE car with original engine.
and already have 242,300 km.
Now car works good
I want to know how long the life of the engine.
How long can use the car?

How long is a piece of string. Look after it, service it, treat it well and spend the money before little things become big problems and it most likely won't stop. Holden engines will keep on going as long as they're treated right.

Id start lookin at rings etc at about 350-400k if you look after it, regular fluid changes etc. Even gettin a hidin every now and then they seem to last

ive heard its always good to every now and then, give it a good run down the freeway, put your foot into it make it work abit hard.. just so the engine doesnt get stuck into a normal routine and wears out evenly.. but yeh as others said keep the oils and servicing up to it and it will last a good 600,000 - 700,000kms easy

Giving it a good run occasionally helps clear shit out of it too
