    Default Lowering a WH Statesman Series 1

    So im looking at buying lower springs for my WH Statesman its a series 1 2000 model. Just wondering if i need to do any other mods to it or whether i can just install the new springs?

    Depending on what height you plan on using. You can get away with Low or Super Low springs without replaching the shocks, but any lower and it's highly advisable to use shortened shocks and struts, which provide better handling and performance. Even at Low or SL height, it helps to have shorter shocks.

    Thats it for lowering, but you may find you need or want more suspension parts later. Camber adjustment to prevent excessive wear of inner edge of rear tyres, sway bar link pin kit which quite often fails on lowered Commodores.

    If you car has Level Ride Suspension you will need to disconnect that.

    so if going to superlow you dont have to change shocks but wouldnt hurt ?????
