    Default VT Suspension

I brought my car second hand and can only assume that bushes, shocks etc havent been touched. Car is nearing 150k and im thinking about getting the suspenion over hauled. I want to lower it slightly as well so I know ill be needed springs, shocks but what else should i look at replacing?

And can anyone recommend me a place in Melbourne- Eastern Subs?

    Hi mate,

    Have a squiz here:
KYB / Kings Commodore Lowering Packages!

Apart from shocks, the main thing that need replacing are link pin bushes, and front radius rod bushes.

I second that. These would be the most likely to be needing replacement if it hasn't been done already. Get a mechanic to have a look at your car first. Pedders will go over it for $14, giving you a full quote on what needs doing, so that you can have a think about it. Post up what needs doing here and I'm sure you will get plenty of opinions, useful or not.

go to pedders and get a 28 point safety check. its only $14. they'll tell you what you NEED to replace. If it aint broke, dont fix it coz you could be spending that green on something else.

Don't go to pedders if you enjoy money in your pocket.

Mines ticked over 160k and i have done most of what glenn l recommended. and can say i highly recommend his recommendations.
