Default vt Parker globe installation trouble

well guys as most of you know, vt have the stupidest headlights int the world lol. im having trouble changing my parkers, the only option i can think of is taking apart the headlight to put the new parker globes in :S or taking a hammer to my headlights.

i assume there has to be an easy way im just not seeing?? can anyone please give me an EASY way to change my parkers! i know its probably a stupid question but im really having trouble with this and would prefer to not have to pull apart my headlights!!!! thanks guys

I need to do the same thing atm mate, I did see a how to for a VX Berlina but don't know if it's the same as i haven't had a look yet. It says in the bay behind the light there should be a couple of wires going into the headlight and if you give it a good tug (hehehehe) then it should come out with the globe attatched and then it's as simple as changing them over....well that was the gist of it. I haven't had a look yet so I'll update when i get the chance.

EDIT: K, I had a look and there's a cap behind the light (in the bay) that twists off and once removed it looks like there's a wire there, this MAY be attatched to the parker I however wasn't game enough to yank it as I didn't want to break anything lol. Also the cap takes a little while to get back on, as you can't see what you're doing lol.

Yes, it should be a dust cap, unscrew it off, which will let you get to the parkers and main headlight. The parker is obviously the small one with 2 wires in the back of it.

Unscrew the dust cap then unplug the connector to the main hi/ low beam , that way you can access the parker . If your really keen you can remove the hi/low beam globe to make it even easier but make sure you don't touch the globe with your fingers as it will shorten its life

    Cool

you dont need to take the headlight out at all just get a pair of pliers onto the back of were the parker goes into the actual housing of the light and give it a little turn and pull it back and theres ya parker i did mine not to long ago for a roady

Take off the dustcap, then take out the headlight globe, then just push the old globe out from inside the headlight. Much easier than trying to reef on the 3mm of plastic they give you
