NEED HELP. vt manual v6. clutch pedal doesnt work

hey guys. was driving along at about 60 when i herd a pop sorta little thud sound when i pushed the clutch pedal down. now it moves freely and what not.:hmmm: i could still drive. just couldnt in/disingage clutch. first i thort was clutch cable lol but realised i have a getrag. whats happend?

Get someone to watch the gearbox mechanism while you opperate the pedal. This will tell you if the pedal is opperating the through out fork. If it is, gearbox out time.

I suspect a dead pressure plate.

a pop sound coulod be a blown hose (common on these) just visually check it from the resevoir to the box first before you start pulling boxes out!
another really common spot is the quick connection on the left hand side of the box near the motor pops out and you lose your fluid this makes a very loud pop sound you can hear over your motor

if not the above and previous posts info soz but box is coming out!~

it was something basic. the pin, bolt thing that goes into the firewall snapped where u adjust the peddle. cost 130 and took me 5 min to replace =so ****
