Just a bit of help

Hey guys I just bought this today: (its a 2001 acclaim series II commodore)

and I got a bit of money now to spend on doing it up a little. I was thinking of:
De badging it (except for holden one)
lower it on superlow springs
twin 2.5" exhaust
complete sound system

Rims - Don't know what would look good on it yet, does anyone have any suggestions? got about 2k for the rims/wheels

Tail Lights - Don't know whether or not to change them and put some genuine monaro tail lights on, any other suggestions here?

i have monaro tail lights and they look really good so i recommend you get them

extractors rims sub?
extractors=pacemakers
rims= see jax quick fit got great deals on at the momento
sub= jaycar response for sound but not brandname
these are the routes i tell my mates to use cause they are the most bang for buck so to speak and i cant see your piscks either

scored a good as bargain got it for 8k only has done 81 000kms. Was previously owned by an old man for the last 9 years who basically drove it to church and back :P

Don't know if they monaro lights will suit the silver, what do you think?

thats way too much money on uncertainty personally would go for new so you know it will last
as for pacemakers get on ebay and pick the cheapest one with your car in the description they have an off the rack one now that is optimum and a good system
when you get it fitted i would have them put the catback system on aswell (they make this for f* all)

catback = $320.00
extractors= $490 plus $60 fit and gaskets
was really cheap though as i called in a favour

true that but could you get a good complete sound system for about $2000-$2200? (thats how about how much I got saved for one)

oo souns good..how does your vt sound now with it all on? must sound awesome

sounds more meaty but honestly i want to pull the motor and do some crazy shit like my ricers i owned but just dont have the dosh
if all you want is the cruiser then just have the rear muffler replaced with straight pipe for SOME sound the go audio sounds like your more into comfort so id go the interior do up
is more original anyway i reckon~! more one of a kind!~

straight pipe on an auto will sound kinda drony.. get a hotdog instead!

as for the sound system i only spent $1000 for my system and it goes hard! so no need to spend 2k

hmm its abit hard for silver.. maybe the red monaro lights? can get a pair for ~$200 of ebay and easy to fit

lol i still have one muffler and is not too bad on the highway at all but then again i have modded intake ect etc
