gday guys quick question...i know i have to replace the rear shockers for shorter ones when i chuck in the ultra low rear springs but do i have to replace the struts to aftermarket ones for front ultra low springs?

you should if your going that low, it will ride like crap, but you can get away with it if your scratching for coin.
