The aux connection in my VT is starting to play up, i've purchased a new aux cable for the ipod but it just sounds crappy. Is it possible to replace the face plate of the eurovox unit without replacing the whole thing?

If I need to replace the whole unit, is it worthwhile getting one from the wreckers?



P.S. not gonna pay $300+ for a CD player when I can use a $7 cable to play music off my iPod
