Hey guys,
I recently fixed up my power window switch as it was not working all the time. I would have to press the up switch multiple times before it actually made contact and worked, so I pulled it apart and cleaned it all out, and I filmed the whole thing so that anyone else who has the same problem can try and fix theirs too.
The video starts by me showing the problem.
Then how to take out the power window switch
Then how to take that apart
Then what to clean
Then snapping it all back together and testing the finished product.
I tried to post this in the How To sub forum, but it never showed up, so I'm posting it here seeing as though I did it on my VX.
Hope it helps someone

Yeah its a common problem people often mistake 4 a faulty switch which is generally either 2 things. 1. The black sooty **** that builds up from tiny arc's wen contact is made. The contacts generate a fair bit of heat coz of this which leads 2 the next fault. 2. the white plastic peg/s with the springs on the end that sit under the button itself usually gets melted down so u cant operate the switch propely 4 it 2 make normal contact.
