VT Roof Lining

The roof lining on my car is in good condition but starting to sag.

Is there a fix that i can do myself and what is it ? OR is it easier to take is somewhere and pay them to do it ?

Ok now i'm adding a question about the oil light instead of starting a whole nother thread...

Before i got the car serviced (180k service n replaced a bunch of wearing parts) the oil light would come on for a few seconds when when the stall indicater beeped (revs drop too low)
The mechanics said they checked out everything relating to the oil pump/pressure but couldnt find the problem (if there is one).

Got the car back today and now the oil light and stall beeper goes off intermitently(sp) when i'm idling. Needless to say i'm not happy bout that.

Any ideas anyone ??

Older Commodores are prone to it. You could take it to an Auto Upholsterer, Do you know if its just glued to the roof or if its glued to cardboard? They are easy enough to take out, but i dont know how you would go about fixing it.

Just rip off the factory material and re carpet it, If your awesome put some LED's in there while your at it like i did :P lol

Holden still sell brand new roof liners for $90, just buy a new one. and there are extremely easy to fit. all the trims around the edge of the roof either unclip or come off with a phillips head screw driver

$90 bucks for a new one from holden sounds pretty good right now.

I was gonna repaire mine until i rang my local holden and found out a hole brand new one only costs $75. And yes i did get them to check if it was the right part and price. problem solved

Should be around the same price in your area????
