hi, has anybody seen vt international wheels without the fins in the cut outs i seen some the other night and was wanting to now if holden made them or someone cut the fins off

The genuine Holden International rims were 17 inch only, available on the VT series 2 Calais and WH series 1 Statesman.

I think the rims you're talking about are 18 inch aftermarket copies. I've seen them on eBay before but i just checked and there were none listed i could find.

I had a look for some pics to compare. Both rims in the pics have "fins" so maybe the rims you saw were modified? (unless there's another aftermarket "copy" out there i haven't seen)

Differences i've noticed - the genuine 17's have 9 spokes, small indents between the wheel nut recesses, and the valve stem is directly opposite a wheel nut recess (i.e. line from centre of rim to stem). Whereas the aftermarket 18's have 8 spokes only, no small indents, and the valve stem is opposite the point between two wheel nut recesses (i.e. line from stem to centre of rim goes between recesses).
