Thanks to all in advance,
I believe there prob would be a thread about this already but as i don't have time at the moment to search for one i was hoping someone would be able to give me an answer quickly.
I have a VX commodore and the switch is broken for the passenger rear window. One of the bright spark children of mine managed to get the window down but now i can't seem to wind it up. I know what the prob is and have the new switch on the way but until then i need my windows up to stop would be thieves and would like to know how and what wires i can short out to wind this window up.
This is URGENT.
Problem solved
What did it turn out to be? I have the same problem in my VT calais 98.
To fix the problem i pulled the switch out of the drivers side rear to get window up, but the problem is the switch itself, im away for work at the moment and haven't had time to put the new switch in yet but auto electrician had told me that if one of your switches is not working then the other one won't work either.
Sometimes the problem can be caused by the wiring between the rear door and the door jamb . It can break inside the rubber sleeve .
