no gears available

hi i have a vt v6 supercharged all standed was driving when it lost gears . its like i have blown a diff but tail shaft is not spinning . shifter is ok and working but no gears. does anyone know what is wrong or has had this problem?

have u snapped the drum spline in the gearbox or the output shaft, or convertor troubles?

something similar happened to me in a VN. drove the car, parked, started and lost all gears. turns out the hose on the trans cooler lines was a tad perished and i lost all my tranny oil. no oil = no gears.

Check if youve got oil.

happend in my VS also..

but then also when i was giving in a good old run sitting on about 180ks ( Ops ) i lost all gears also and had to pull over and turn car of for 5 mins then start it again and it was back to normal...
