Hi, I have a VX S with 16" 225 50 profile and was wondering if anyone knows of anywhere decent to get tyres in Adelaide (I'm from Brissie). I'm overwhelmed with the choice!!! Have no clue now...Only use the car for daily and highway etc. Don't want to spend a packet but want something at least safe and reasonable as wifey also uses car with toddler. Any suggestions would be great re tyre brand and place would be GREAT!!!
get something along the lines of a Yokohama a drive or c drive, good basic tyre that wont cost the earth and still offers good grip and wear, no idea on a place but just use the internet.....or find a local tyre retailer where you live..

I go to City Discount Tyres at Keswick on South road. Seems cheap enough compared to bob jane, beaurepaires, bridgestone etc
Depending where you are.... I always use Glenelg Tyres and More, way cheaper than any tyre shop in Adelaide (in my opinion). They dont always push you to buy the most expensive tyre, you tell them what you are after. I once got 19 inch tyres new for $170ea fitted. Not a name brand, but they were very reliable tyres and nver had problems throughout their whole life.... I gave them a workout too!
Hit me up with some reputation points if i've helped you out! (Star in the bottom left!) Cheers!
