Default What to do while engine bay is in pieces?

i have recently pulled out my alternator coz its shagged, but in doing so i found it easier to remove thermo fans so alt comes out alot easier. also my water pump needs replacing so that is off aswell, just wondering what i could clean/replace/shine up to fill in time while i wait for the parts. its a VX Clubsport ls1

All I could recommend would be a really good clean, get the thing looking like its just off the factory floor.
I did that to mine (even tho its just an ecotec) and it looks heaps better. Apart from that I'm only in to go fast goodies

you could hide the engine bay wiring, take off your fuel rails and anything else that is alloy and polish them up using wet/dry sandpaper and soapy water, this looks a treat i done this on my SS. BTW it takes a whilem but definately worth it
