vt thermo fan

hey guys i have a supercharged vt and have noticed the thermo fans dont kick in at all does anyone know where the fuse would be for this or does anyone have any suggestions as to why they would not be kicking in
any help guys is much appreciated

Try disconnecting coolant temp sensor and then start the car, the fans should come on. If they dont then its a fuse/relay/connection/ECU problem. If they do then the issue is most likely with your coolant temp sensor not giving the computer an accurate reading of the temperature.

If they dont come on with the temp sensor disconnected then try the following;

1. Check engine codes... Do a search on here to find out how.
2. Check the termo fans are connected - there is a plug to allow them to be disconnected when removed. - I had a mechanic not reconnect mine - lucky I found the issue before it was too late.
3. Check the fuses under the fuse box under the bonnet.
4. Check the relays under the bonnet, try swapping them with similar relays (there are several components which use a similar relay).

Post back and we can go from there.
