Hi,
I'm 17 years old and just got my P's. I have a '02 VX S2. I have just put a new Pioneer Head Unit in it and it sounds really good. I'm going to change the speakers and I also want to change the mags/rims. However, I'm still at school and only work part time. So I was just wondering if anyone has any good suggestions for some cheap ($1000 for all 4) mags that will look good on it?
Thanks, Pivo
Not bad for a first car
Post some pictures of your car then it'd be easier to see what wheels would suit it
I was looking on ebay the other day for some wheels and they had a few in your price range, it just depends what you like
You should just keep saving for a few more weeks or months, $1000 won't get you a really good set.

mate keep saving dont waste money on mags or a v6 keep it stock save up by the time your off your Ps hello L98![]()
Take it easy...But do take it...
Do not argue with an IDIOT.
He will just drag you down to his level an beat you with experience.
Some people take me the wrong way, Like smacking up Marijunna.
Ok i'll post some pics. Well I was thinking of getting them next year cause I'm graduating from high school in about a month and then I have a job next year at a mill for a year before I go to university for physiotherapy. So I should be able to spend about $2000. Thanks dobes I got it as a B'Day present.
Only cost $5,500 and it is in good condition as you will see in the photos that I will post in the next few days

Thanks for replies.
L98.... I wish and I can't drive one of them til I'm 21.
Its the V8 that comes from the VE range. Absolute beast of a motor when its opened up a bit.
People have been getting like 300+rwkw from just a CAI, full exhaust, cam and a MAFless tune.
I'll be transplanting one into my VX when I get off my P's. L98 FTW!![]()

Probably a stupid question but why would you do that? Why not just buy a VE?
yeah true...specially once you add costs of like new wiring loom labor all that kinda stuff...
Here are some pics and the rims I'm looking at.
looking at the ride height, mags are going to look silly unless your lowering it, removing the door moulding, and the pin stripes.
AS mentioned previously in this post, it is already a clean car, those tyres are going to be real cheap to replace the way they are. Save your money and spend it on your next car.

Now sporting ASR audio interior lighting and stereo mods, and MACE induction mods.
Need your computer tuned, or dash calibrated??? Want your PS3 fixed, or wish to prevent the YLOD?

I'll transplant the L98 because I like the shape and look of the VX better. Plus, they're like 150 kilos lighter.
And after all my car has done for me I want to reward it with a new heart![]()

I know, but I figure I wouldn't get much of a VE for 12 grand (with manual trans of course)
And even a stock L98 would be a quantum leap from my little ecotec![]()
