Bodykit for VX
Hey guys
I am thinking of buying this bodykit:
HSV VY Clubsport bumper body kit for Commodore VT sedan (eBay item 290489563301 end time 26-Oct-10 16:55:56 AEDST) : Cars, Bikes, Boats
Although would anyone know if it will fit my VX commodore? I've asked the guy on a number of occasions and I don't think he knows either.

you will have to change the head lights to fit the front bar, its ur choice but i think the front bar looks shit house. get a 05 monaro kit much better

Fitting a later models kit to a previous one looks woeful.
I highly dislike this body kit for a VT/VX the front sticks out way to far

That is basically a VX Clubsport replica kit (excluding the bonnet) I have pieced together a clubsport kit off ebay (all plastic not fibreglass) for about $400 with no damage. It took close to 12 months to get it all but worth it! If you get fibreglass (which is a risk, if you bump one thing it falls apart), you can get one for about $1000 and up!! Will potentially cost a fair bit to fit too because they often have to be modified to fit properly.

yeah man that one looks 100 times better but I reckon the best body kit for a VX is an SS body kit. nice and simple and looks awesome without a spoiler

Does anyone know how much a full (unpainted) VT ss bodykit is?
I prefer the VT bodykit over the VX because of the rear how it doesn't have those stuid red holograms and it just looks neater I rekon. Will the VT SS bodykit fit on my vx? I have already got genuine monaro tail lights installed, and thinking of getting monaro head lights to.
is there anything else I need to do to make it fit?

why not just pain the reflextors on the vx rear bar? or if you no some where that can plastic weld them up so you dont have them. a vx ss kit looks way better then a vt ss one. i still say buy a 05" monaro kit lol
