    Default 5.7 to 6.0

    Anyone here swaped out there 5.7 gen 3 for a 6.0ltr v8? in vt/vx ?

    it can be done, i did see a website selling the convesion wiring kits to suit it but im sorry i cant remember what site now

    Did holden change anything about the 6speeds in the vt to the ve 6speeds?

    Yes they did, the ve has bars goin from box to shifter whereas vt has gearsrick comin straight out the gearbox. Guess it's to do with the ve l98 sitting differently in engine bay compared to vt-vz

    best idea is to keep your 5.7l and put the 6.0l head on it higher compression as they have a smaller combustion chamber a nice cam and theres your grunt alot cheaper =] goes harder then a stock 6.0l

    With heads though, you can't put L98 heads on an LS1 block but you can put LS2 heads. Just something to keep in mind.
