hi all, at a mates place putting a ss inductions growler on his vx ls1, our question is what do we do with the plug that was connected to the top cover of the original air box? thanks in advance.
with the mace ones they give you a spot to connect it to again thought these would be the same
You should put a OTR on it mate, way better then SS Induction crap.. SS Deduction on the dyno sheet,
otr for sure some people have had a reduction in power over the stock airbox with the ss stuff
i have heard you can get an otr and still retain the maf? so im assuming it would not need a tune is this right? thanks guys

cool thanks for the info, anyone know wheres the best place to get one in Melbourne?
these guys arn't in melb, but I don't think shipping would be too much...
SUREFLO - Sureflo Exhaust: Top Quality Custom Performance Exhaust Systems and LS1 Tuning on the left side of the screen, scroll down to OTRCAI.
otherwise, just ring a few tuner places eg: Chev's/HPF etc and see if they got any in stock...
can you buy any otrcai and fit it as long as you retain the maf? or are there otrcai's for maf's and diffrent ones for mafless? also what happens with the air temp sensor that plugs into the original air box? cheers
i know the ramjet intakes can just bolt on to your existing MAF and you dont have to worry about anything else, there is just a plug on the side of the intake for the air temp sensor
