What brand of clutch

Hi guys, What brand of clutch kit should i look at getting for my series 2 gen2 vt 6 speed,
looking for somthing that is a all round good clutch that wont burnout

i used to have a exedy in my VN, was best i ever had, not sure what they are like for the vt though

What's a gen2?

I had an HD exedy clutch in my VX S and it was great. Brand wise, Exedy are alright and not too pricey.

It you're after something that can take some punishment, textralia seems to be a good brand to look at for a Gen3 v8.

I got a ceramic/organic one side is ceramic and one side is organic, it's great and doesn't slip EVER, well for now anyway and that's been through two powercruises smashing 3rd every corner lol. I got it for real cheap on eBay with heavy duty pressure plate and a machined flywheel for 350 delivered

Yer I know I was stoked I knew mine was gonna go soon so I bought it and kept it for a year then put it in and it's great! Best bargain I've had so far haha

I got my mechanic to put an xtreme clutch and flywheel in mine. this clutch is pretty expensive compared to the ebay bargains that the boys here have got.
when you get your mechanic to put your clutch in get them to put an extension bleader nipple on your master (or slave???) cylinder that inside your gear box... its only about $25 this way if you ever want to change fluids you dont have to drop the gear box to do it.

that is if your gen 2 (6 speed) is similar to my gen 3...

i have a NPC clutch in my vu and have had all the above mentioned ones too but the NPC is far better i never had a clutch grip and not shutter like this one when its getting a hiding , its ceramic and is good for about
450kw and its good in traffic or mal woods make good ones two....
