My Statesman has these large body molding attached to the lower half or the doors. The top of the molding is firmly attached to the door but the bottom edge has separated from the metal. It looks like the bottom edge was attached with double sided tape.

Without actually removing the entire molding panel itself, can anyone confirm that the molding is only supported by double sided tape? Or is there more to it?

Is it an easy fix or should I take the vehicle to a panel shop?
