how hard is it to replace the water pump on the gen 3 & what do i have to look out for when i do it

if ur handy with few spanners you should be right, its not very hard, i took my fans out to get more room to work and my radiator aswel just to back flush it while i was at it

thanks i thought it wasnt that hard but raditor place where got some work done recently dont do them on the gen 3 & they reckon its r night mare to do i think they r just full of shit

Yeah every work shop says that just so you wont do it your self and pay them and charge you alot cause they make you think its a long hard job.
Only thing i pay mechanics to do is Tyres, Transmission services and engine mounts lol, oh and aircon re-gasing lol

Water pump on a Gen III is no harder then doing one on a V6.

Bit harder than a v6 lol but not a nightmare. Just take ur time on a weekend or something if ur in no rush...
