RIP My VT

RIP to my VT Commodore who went to the land of car heaven on Sunday.....I might have only had you for 3 months...but u were AWESOME and saved my life in the prang I was in....to all my friends than pissed themselves at my 12 year old "new" car....laugh if you will but Im alive because of it.....back to the drawing board of cars...perhaps this time I might trade up to a VX....all I know is i walked away and wasnt airlifted like the others....Murph the VT rest in peace xx

Chin up, I can sympathise completely, I lost my faithful old VP last week. Sucks, and not just coz you're on shanks pony now.

But happily you're safe and no one was injured... in the end, a car can be replaced.

thanks guys....im just a lil banged up...the vn dirver got airlifted critical condition and the lancer driver leg/back injs....my lil VT is smashed in and airbag off...so gone to god i think....but something told me to drive off into a ditch so i did and it saved me....emerg servs cant understand how i got out alive so trolling the classifieds....hmm if i can cash up perhaps its a vx this time round but i did love my vt xx

was heading west....doing 70 in 90- km zone coz rd was wet as and pissing down.....vn heading east slid out....was coming at me sideways...hit lancer head on spun around and hit it in the rear...both heading towards me....something (and not god) told me to head over oncoming traffic into a ditch...so i did...i got smashed into on the front of my car...airbag went off and me and the vt ended up on the other side of the rd in a ditch of mud....not blood figured i could move so got outta my car and looked over the rd at the carnage....so bolted over to help....chick in the lancers seat snapped she ended up in the back seat and the chick from the vn was in a really really bad way.....outta nowhere came a nurse who did cpr on the vn driver...i was about to but thank god for this nurse....and then all the lights and sirens got on scene....and then the air ambulance came and took the vn driver to hospital.......sometimes Miss L just has a lucky day and that was it.....so a sore neck and airbag burns on my hands and very bruised hooters is the least of my worries.....bless the vts airbag for protecting Miss Ls airbags i say

Shit eh... Miss L that's bloody awful (teach me to read OP more carefully next time), glad you're safe and sound, shame about the other poor bastards, I hope they'll be ok.

Just goes to show... the number of people I see who don't slow down in the wet, especially here up north where it comes down in buckets... not saying that's how your accident occurred, but people don't realise how a wet road can be a killer. Just one little patch of water and goodbye traction.

i know onca....and lets just just say that Miss L likes fast in cars...but no way when it was pissing down.....im hoping to get the photos from the po-lice and ill put em on if i get them....just gotta b careful if it ended in a fatal v uncool to put them up.....but onto bigger and better things..aami have sorted my claim (good work) so gotta do some hard work and save some more cash....hoping to get a vy or ve if i can work the auctions and im gonna make it sweet as already picked my new plates....vnom8.....cheers guys for your wishes too....its awesome when ya feeling down and busted out

i know how you feel Miss L, i had a very beautiful VC for only 3 months before a garbage truck took out the whole side of it
but i did like you said you are going to do, upgraded to my VT S pack, a little bit of good comes out of a bad situation i think...
and just to relate to you once again, i was driving in the wet on a 90km busy road just outside of koo wee rup and it was absolutely hammering down, i was doing about 70 like you said you were doing and heaps of idiots were over taking me, i could not see 5 metres in front of me, but they think because i have L plates on and im not doing the speed limit that they have to overtake me. sucks to hear about the other people, and hope they are ok. and just one final thing, what is vnom8 for?

thanks mkyhnly good work on the VT s....in fact i was just looking at them too *sigh* so im hoping good will come from bad...although todays dilema is could i really b seen in a tiger mica colored car !! spose i could paint it with nail polish !! some ppl are just dicks really seriously we were all on L plates at one time ( i was made to drive a YELLOW FORD by the olds on mine )
so just do what u gotta do to make it safe for you i say...i love nothin more that when i get a ride in an ss and fast but only do it where its safe and not on the roads.....the others from my prang well one is ok the other....well lets not go there....the plate...well i used to have a business called venom so its from that venom8 is already gone so i made the best i could.....just gotta find the car to match the plates to.....and of course match the car to my handbag and nail color *sigh* hard work being a girl cheers
