Just wondering if there is problems with these colours with the paint fading or anything as i know as some cars have had a problem with these colours fading
Cheers
pretty sure red has a problem with the clear ?
If its not metalic it shouldn't have clear coat but i could be wrong .
there are three types of people in the world , those who can count and those who can't
mines silver and the paint is fine. fade wise anyway, the bloke i bought it off tried using touch up paint on a couple spots. kinda looks like silver on darker silver cammo lol.
Now we have moved onto quantum physics and popcorn.
My vx s
Red is single stage - doesn't not have any clear coat on it.
If you keep it polished and clean it looks great....But otherwise it can look RS very quickly.
I have a red VX SS and love it![]()
Hot Red VX SS - 5.7L Gen3, Pacemaker tri-y's, Dual 2.5", 6 Speed, 3.47 LSD, 18" HSV Clubsport wheels
Stereo - Alpine 9887, JL 300/2, Audison LRx1.1k, Image Dynamics IDMAX 12", Focal 165VR's + Dynamat
You see alot of red VXs that look like they're about 40 years old driving around. But looks hot when it's polished, waxed and looked after.
VX2 Executive Sedan - 3.8L Auto (for now)VT SS Sedan - Supercharged V6 Auto (Genuine L67 SS)VN SS Sedan - 5.0L 5 Speed Manual (Currently Balga spec waiting for panel and paint)
Red is harder to keep shiny and looking clean (shows up dirt & road grime etc) so i'd pick the silver.
Silver matches alloy wheels (not that that really matters) and is a common colour.
But then red cars go faster...
my red spoiler is faded
