Hi guys,
just looking into geting my 5.7ltr vt Mafless tuned and im told that they will put a 170 degre thermostat in, just wondering what the advantage of that is? and what degre is the standed one?
Real cars don't power the front wheels, they lift them
at a guess it will open lower temps to keep the motor cooler, not sure what the stock ones open at but i assume it would be higher?
MACE sell a 81c thermostat for the V6, stock opens at 90c
just did a quick google search for you
170 degrees Fahrenheit = 76.6666667 degrees Celsius
cant tell you how many degrees the stock for a 5.7L is though.
