can anyone fill me in on what the brown and white wire is that is taped to the acc power and earth wire on the vt cigarette lighter loom car side not lighter side????

I found this thread from doing a search on the forums
its for a VY but should be the same in the VT . it makes sense

Yellow = +12V Acc
Black/white trace = Ground
Brown/white trace = Illumination
