I've recently picked up a VT wagon and when put into reverse the lights don't go on. The globes are all fine.
I read a 'How To' guide on replacing the inhibitor switch, but this guide was for the VS model. I've taken out the centre console and can't seem to find the inhibitor switch. Does the VT even have an inhibitor switch? If not, any idea on what the problem would be?
Here's an image of what I'm up to. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Take it easy...But do take it...
Do not argue with an IDIOT.
He will just drag you down to his level an beat you with experience.
Some people take me the wrong way, Like smacking up Marijunna.
If its anything like the VS type, its gonna be right at the bottom of the shift stick under that black plastic surround around the gearshift there in the pic.The switch should have some electrical wires going to it that you will see there somewhere..You would think someone on here would know exactly where it is and be able to help you..I only own a VS,so Im not 100% sure.
It could be the reverse light switch. Is it a manual? if it is the switch is located on the drivers side of the gear box up the top. If you short the two wires out and the lights come on then your switch is most likely ****ed , i think they're about 65 bucks from holden. Not to sure about auto could be the same but ive got no idea.
switch is on the side of the gearbox on vt onwards.
black box around where the shift linkage goes inside the box.
where is the fuse
